When will I receive the processed photos and video?
Photos are delivered the morning after the shoot, and videos are delivered within 2 business days.
How are photos and video delivered to me?
Photos and videos are sent via a Dropbox link. Photos are exported to 2 sizes - one full size set, and one optimized for upload on MLS.
How long will the shoot take?
It varies, but the more services captured, and the greater the square footage of the home, the longer it will take to capture. A small condo might take as little as 40-60 minutes to film, whereas a large detached home with photo, video, vertical video and drone footage will likely take 2-2.5+ hours to film. Generally, it usually takes longer than you'd think!
How many photos do you deliver?
We capture any photo angle that might help your listing, and don't put limits on how many photos we'll deliver. On average, a small condo is 25-30 photos, a townhouse 30-40, a detached home 35-45 and an acreage or large house is typically at least 45 photos.
How should I prepare the home before the shoot?
In today's competitive market, homes will show best if they are presented as much like a showhome as possible. Counters should be clear of items like cleaning supplies, sponges, and paper towels, and small garbage cans should be tucked out of sight. We suggest de-cluttering as much as you can! It will make all the difference to how your listing shows.
Do you have to check with the airport to fly your drone?
It depends. As a certified advanced drone operator, I am able to fly in certain locations without written approval from Transport Canada. However, if the home is located within a certain proximity to any airport, we may need to request approval for the flight, which can take 2 or more business days. It's best to check the location with us well before the shoot if you would like to add drone footage.
Should the homeowner be at the shoot?
It's up to you and the homeowner, but it's usually easier if the house is empty and ready to go for the shoot. We're often capturing photo and video in different formats, on different floors, so there's a lot of hustling around.
Will you film amenities spaces in condo buildings and townhomes?
Absolutely! The realtor will need to gain access to the space ahead of time. We always grab photos but please let us know if you'd like the amenities in your video as well (realtor’s choice!).
Do you capture twilight photos and videos?
Definitely! Please contact us to arrange timing, which is always essential for twilight shoots. As well, we can digitally edit daytime photos to look like twilight photos. They're an excellent alternative, especially in inclement weather!
Will you film me talking about the property?
Yes! Agent introductions (or narratives) are very popular - and we will gently walk you through the whole process! Some realtors want to simply introduce the property for the first 10 seconds, and others prefer an extensive in-depth walkthrough. A common choice is an introduction in front of the house, a 2nd clip, usually in a kitchen or living room, and a wrap-up clip at the end.
